I believe in natural babies - I love them to "pose" themselves.  I want you to be able to look back at your newborn portraits and be able to instantly go back in time.  Remember how his little face looked when he slept or remember how he used to tuck his hand up under his chin.  I also really want you to have images with your baby.  I know it may be hard to consider getting your portrait taken so soon after giving birth but you will cherish these images some day.  He won't always be this small - he won't always fit in your arms just like that.....

This family loved the idea of taking home both digital negatives as well as one of my keepsake portrait boxes.  It's such a beautiful piece and they will be able to both display their portraits now as well as have a heirloom box to store the portraits in later.
