August and September are my favorite months of the year. August is my birth month and the weather is normally so perfect in the PNW. We made the most of it with lots of beach time and camping!
The month of July is always exciting in our family. Not only is it great because it's summer but it's also very special because both of my babies were born in July. We celebrated a 5th birthday and a 1st birthday this year! This July was also the 7th month of my daily photography project. Here are some of my favorite images from the month.....
Eek! I'm halfway through my 366 day project. If you are just finding my website and you are wondering what the heck a 366 day project is - well it's a one year project (this year has 366 days rather than 365 because of leap year) where I take (and share) at least one picture every day!
This months highlights included camping fun at Ft. Worden, strawberry picking at Remlinger Farms and celebrating Fathers Day!

Session Type: Baby Milestone - 11 months old!
Session Location: Lake Stevens, WA
11 months old - it's almost hard to believe. I know everyone feels that way but we can't help but feel it! This was the trickiest photo session with him yet. He would not stop moving and he loves to explore everything. Unfortunately he doesn't quite have any concept of danger or falling off of anything yet. And he's a climber....a climber (be still my heart)!
He continues to melt our hearts as soon as he grins. And this month he shocked us all by not only standing effortlessly but standing up on the bed!
He moves so fast I needed the help of the entire family this month!

Happy Fathers Day! I’d like to take a moment to highlight and thank all of the amazing Father’s out there. Being a Father is not easy and I for one, could not be the Mother that I am without my partner, and Daddy to my children.
I know I talk a lot about Mom’s and babies and I love posting Motherhood images, however Fatherhood images are equally as important. I know it can be uncomfortable to get in front of the camera you guys but it’s totally worth it!
