You know what the best part of living in the PNW is?  (Other than our amazing summers) It's the ability to still have a great family session in the middle of December!  This family ventured up and met me on the Centennial trail in Snohomish (while on their way to pick up their Christmas tree)!

And we had the whole place to ourselves - it might have been a little cold...but other than that, it was perfect family photography session!

Session Location:  Mukilteo Beach

Fall mini sessions were so fun this year!  I chose the Mukilteo Beach and Lighthouse as the backdrop and it did not disappoint!  This beach is the perfect place for family pictures because there is just so much to see .... the lighthouse, the ferry, the playground, the water, the beach and the amazing driftwood!

Session Location:  Pumpkin Patch in Snohomish

The biggest compliment a family can give me is to continue to come back to me every year for their family pictures!  This family has been back 4 years in a row ..... and I'm so honored.  

Because little ones can get bored very easily, we chose the pumpkin patch as our backdrop. It's always best if the kids feel like they are doing something then want to do.  Getting your picture taken is no fun....but running thru a field of pumpkins sure is!

My favorite thing about lifestyle newborn sessions is just how calm and laid back they are.  Those weeks after having your first baby (or even your second, third or fourth for that matter) can be so overwhelming.  The last thing you want to do is get ready, pack EVERYTHING up and drive somewhere to get your pictures taken.  

Lifestyle sessions take place in your own home.  I come over, we chat and spend a couple of hours together....all the while I capture some beautiful images of you, your family and your tiny little new one.  

This session will Baby Fred and his parents was like that!  I love how it turned out!
